About the Stellar Foundation

The Stellar Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education and professional development for aspiring performing artists as well as facilitating social and
cultural exchanges.

We provide resources for talented, deserving young artists who can benefit from top-level training in the performing arts but who, for a variety of reasons – whether personal, social or economic – are unable to pursue their dreams.
The Stellar Foundation was launched in 2013 by Mark Lethem and Giles Auckland–Lewis, the founding partners of the Institute of the Arts Barcelona.

What We Do

We seek commitment and contributions from individuals, businesses and other non-profit organisations that can offer their skills, time or resources to the Stellar Foundation. In turn, we promote the Performing Arts as a foundation for personal development and community relations.

Through the Stellar Foundation bursary programme, we assist aspiring performers with access to a world-class education in the Performing Arts.

We facilitate performance opportunities at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona’s state-of-the-art facilities and tap in to our network of industry contacts to help those setting out on their chosen career as a performer.

BURSARIES
Students wishing to apply for a bursary for a course at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona should NOT apply to the Stellar Foundation but should notify the IAB at the time of application. The IAB Scholarship Committee reviews each application on an individual basis and makes a recommendation to the Stellar Foundation for an award where appropriate.
